I’ve been around the PGA Tour for quite some time and happen to know a few players from Europe. Down to a man (on this team) they are crazy cool and down to earth.

I think it’s been that way for a while, in regards to the Ryder Cup. I went a few years back when it was at Oakland Hills and by the end of the day everyone I was there with (all Americans) was openly rooting for the Euros because of how cool they were with all the fans.
