Exactly what I’m thinking. Had we just funneled all the talent into soccer over other sports... goddamn.

There’s a part of me that’s genuinely curious as to how far we’d get if we as a country - in some alternate universe - were crazy over soccer. Given that we barely give a shit and we get decently far (USMNT) and become champions (USWMT), I can only imagine what it’d be like.

Hm. Sorry. I guess my data was a bit outdated :P

Fair points. Minus the support part; Apple support is great, if not better than Google’s. Non-Nexus phones have trash support (outside of custom ROMs), but Nexus support is generally good. But does Google support their devices for five years, like Apple just did with iOS 9? No. I’d argue that Apple support is far

Except it doesn’t work like that. Marketshare doesn’t reveal everything. It would if it were like the console market, where every console owner has the same machine. The mobile industry is far more complicated.

Ignore the other responses. The reason why iOS is still the main mobile platform to develop for is money. Solely money. And no, not Apple’s money.

Apple doesn’t give a damn about getting “exclusives” for apps. The developers do it for them.

Uh, no. You’re correct in that this is great marketing, and that backwards compatibility will be a huge driver in sales for the Xbox One. It’s usual business.

I believe the lack of a player counter thing in the main MP menu was Sledgehammer’s decision. Just my assumption; I dunno why they would. Treyarch already confirmed that they’re bringing it back for BO3.

Try using a non-deodorant antiperspirant. I use Odaban (off of Amazon), and it’s been working swell for me. No stains either.

This. Wii Remote typing was damn good and fast.

Same. I really don't get the dislike towards Titanfall. It delivered on its promise of being a great multiplayer game. It was like CoD, but with a higher learning curve and faster paced (not to mention less frustration).

I thought Titanfall was great, and actually showcased the talent that the original Infinity Ward team had when they developed CoD4 and MW2.

Doesn't work with sweaty fingers either. If you have even a bit of sweat on any of your fingertips, Touch ID becomes useless.

I tend to sweat quite a bit on my hands, especially during summertime, and Touch ID becomes a hassle to do since I need to wipe my fingers dry before each attempt.

What? So I guess we should never compare two alike services together by your logic?

Couldn't it be argued that because their rival service - Xbox Live - was up and running just fine since the initial 24 hours, Sony had to apologize?

Not here to blame the victim [Sony], but it seems as though a lot of the animosity stemmed from the fact that Microsoft seemed to handle the DDoS attacks much better than

What you say is true, and I'm pretty sure that it's widely acknowledged as well. Wii owners tend to often times have a second console where they play/buy most of their "hardcore" games.

It actually played pretty well on Wii. Try an FPS on the Wii, be it CoD or some other game.

What are the general demographics of Wii owners? Are they dedicated gamers? Because to my knowledge, Wii gamers aren't likely to purchase games consistently (minus the few hardcore Nintendo gamers), nor do they have an interest in so-called "hardcore" games.

I get what you mean. While the Xbox dashboards may not have been the fastest or best performing, they were certainly pretty. And the new Xbox One interface (or the Windows 8 interface in general) is really sleek, flat, and modern.
