It was stated in the article that the GPU of the Wii U wasn't underpowered. In fact, it is much more capable than the ones in the PS3 and Xbox 360. Unfortunately, the CPU in the Wii U is underpowered for sake of keeping the console running at minimal temperatures/noise.
YouTube videos have never been a reputable way to visually see how games look in person, on your own monitor/TV. YouTube videos, even in full 1080p HD, are always heavily compressed.
You can upload your BF4 gameplay on PC to YouTube in 1440p, but you'd be hard pressed to spot the differences with the console versions…
From a purely gaming perspective...
There is zero reason to get an Xbox One. Not when every single multiplatformer is superior on the PS4. One of the biggest factors for getting an Xbox 360 last gen was that most games (that weren't exclusives) ran noticeably better than on the PS3. This gen, it's reversed.
You miss the days when YouTube wasn't for profit? How about when YouTube wasn't plagued by copyright claims?
I miss the days when anyone could upload anything they wanted. The huge Rock Band/Guitar Hero community that existed before Machinima came out (and subsequently, big-time gaming channels) were decimated once…
The Dualshock 4 using micro-USB instead of mini-USB like the Dualshock 3 isn't really that much of a downer. Sure, now our old mini-USB cables don't work, but micro-USB is the standard for most mobile devices nowadays, including our smartphones and tablets. I have so many lying around. Sony simply made a decision to…
I'm fascinated by the art styles of the Wii U's first-party games. It's a marvel to see Nintendo's cartoony characters/games transformed into a more realistic graphical environment.
The lighting, water effects, bloom, etc. Maybe it's just me, but this is certainly strange for me to look at.
Currently, iPhones on iOS 7 cannot be simply reformatted to be used (if stolen). Apple implemented Activation Lock with iOS 7, meaning that no matter how many times you reformat the device (be it manually or through a hard reset), it will ask you to login with the previous owner's Apple ID before unlocking itself.
The…
Good plan, except the sensor is capacitive. Dead flesh won't/can't be detected.
You forgot to add that Apple doesn't allow developers to moderate the leaderboards for their games on Game Center. It's completely off-limits. All the developers can do is secure the sent score client-side. I do not understand this logic.
They don't and won't implement it since iOS is designed so that one does not have to close apps. In fact, constantly closing apps after exiting them drains your battery life more than just backing out and leaving it.
The art style is different, mate. Reason why games like Bioshock: Infinite can manage to come out decent on current-gen consoles without looking like utter crap.
Troll or not, the rest of the world begs to differ with your view of history.
I'm not sure about the children's books being like that, but I believe Japanese school history textbooks (and other textbooks be it history or not) completely disregard all the negative things done by Japan in history.
Yeah, well, that's the thing. Japan (as well as South Korea) claims that the islands were always theirs, going back numerous centuries in history. So the whole notion of having to split the island or jointly control it is rejected by both nations since both believe the island was originally theirs.
This is, at the very least, a step towards unifying the multiple skins and devices of Android.
You must admit, though, that it's quite handy for those of us who do have FB accounts. It makes commenting with DISQUS and other message boards much easier, and not to mention all linked to one central online profile.
