I'm countering your logical fallacy (cherrypicking/anecdotal evidence.) I never said the behavior was right (now you're committing a strawman fallacy.)

And how many pedestrians were hit by drivers in your city, son?
Nobody is responsible to "keep up with the speed of traffic" except on roads with posted minimums. Go read your state's traffic laws.
You were informed wrong.
Too bad that the vast majority of cyclist crashes are not due to the behavior of the cyclist in Australia. In the UK, a study found 68% of crashes were the fault of drivers; cyclists 12% (no determinable fault in the remainder.) Boston recently released a study showing the top causes of crashes: drivers not "seeing"…
aaaand let me guess: they'll get a bazillion taxpayer dollars while public infrastructure and health/human services crumble.
Looks like wheel hop...
"If a photographer wants to take a picture of some random person across the street and then sell it for money, they must first acquire a release signature from the subject."
See? I bet someone could make a killing making inflatable bladder cells.
Bravo to the pilot of the "rescue" boat that runs over at least one victim...idiot.
I once watched dealership staff at a certain north-shore MA Audi dealer move cars around for an enthusiast event.
Most test drive situations, the salesperson starts up the car and brings it 'round, and then the engine is running while the test-driver acclimates themselves to controls and whatnot. By the time the car is rolling off the dealership property, things are decently warmed up.
"Usually, asshat drivers try to skirt around traffic jams on the far right shoulder"
"Brown kids"? Did you seriously just say that?
Did it recently get some publicity? If so, I wonder if it was stolen to fill an order. If so, probably on a container ship headed to the middle east or asia right now.
The ratio of compression is about 4:1 at 100ft. That is still not sufficient to support a human adult for TWO DAYS. We're talking an order of magnitude or greater difference.
"it allows the patrolmen to make stops and write tickets without potentially ruining someone's life over such a minor infraction."
I do dive. You need to learn to read. I said "basic recreational diving." Open Water certification, you're not supposed to go below 60 feet; this is another 40 feet below that, which makes this not "basic recreational diving."
I call bullshit on almost every element of this story. 30m is 98 feet, well past the distance of nitrogen narcosis and past the limits for basic recreational diving. 4 feet of air in a small room like a bathroom is also not sufficient air for one person for days. Not even close.
