My MBA was bought in Hong Kong, which is also one of the cheapest places to buy macs from. but yeah, europe generaly is arround 30 to 40%(scandinavia) more expensive.

Your conversion does not seem right. Here in portugal prices are only about 30% more expensiv, not 50% more. And we're one of the most expensive countries to buy mac in europe. The default most expensive macbook pro 15" in US vs Portugal (and most of Europe) is 35% cheaper in the US.

It should at least come with a huge tourism boost...

Why do people call it 4k. It's ridiculous. Not only is the smallest dimension (which generally names the resolution) only 2k, but the large dimension isn't even 4k in any measure...

I've setup gmail to be able to receive mail from three different accounts (outlook.com, gmail and edu) and be able to send outgoing mail as any of them directly from gmail. Which logs in automatically. But yeah, it was kind of a hassle to get it all working.

And so you need a 500$ 10'' tablet to read comics on the go. I get that you might want all devices, but for such a casual use, for me at least, it does not merit the expense a top of the line tablet brings...
