I wasn't bitching about it. I just wanted it to be clear that i was talking about the sport you call soccer. Plus i didn't want to call it soccer, so i thought that was the clearest way :P

Ok. So imagine the league has 4 teams. A, B, C, D.

This video is not clear at all! If i didn't know anything about the nfl, I'd still not know anything about how it works..

So, football (your soccer).

For me, Don Rosa is the best Disney Ducks comic artist. I love how he follows the story as Carl Barks left it, but refines it with is characteristically detailed art work, and inspired story lines. My favorite! And Yes, The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is just the best most epic Disney comic out there, if you ask

You forgot to put a "Lol" in the middle of the comment somewhere (the one that does reference said fact does not count)... How can i take this reply seriously if there are no "Lol"'s in the comment? It's a serious topic (also, you are correct in your reply, but that's not important. What's important is your usage of

We're never gonna solve all of humanity's problems. Space tourism, on the other hand, is real close and realistic. So why not focus on the things we can do instead of the ones we can't? Then, maybe, by achieving them we may become better as a people and society.

Or: what a space shame! Because space tourism is awesome!

Authentic in terms of content yes. The movie almost goes word for word and everything and anything that is even aluded to in the book gets a 10 minutes sequence in the movie. The tone and spirit of the book, on the other hand, not so authentic of an adaptation...

Damn you major networks!

NOOOOOoOoOOoOoOoOoooO!!! Mid-season cliffhanger!

Heh... O don't think so. Maybe to some extent. I didn't read it at that age, but i doubt i would imagine it as dark and self important as it was made to be. But who knows. It's a nice question to think about!

Well, yes. Like with every work of art, previous work always influences it... i just don't like how this one particularly came out, because i liked the original way better...

Well, in the book i don't remember if they actually say that the necromancer is sauron, but i figured as much since i read it after LotR... I do not remeber though what they say about the wizards confronting him in Mirkwood :/

Well, i guess, sure. But i really need to know where you've been. I mean, yes, i get that you were gone, that's why i had to call you, but where did you go? I really need to know! The curiosity is just killing me. And don't say you went inside the closed and secretly 20 years have passed in mere seconds, cuz i just

But the hobbit isn't epic fantasy! That's the point! The Book is fun and witty and never takes itself too seriously. The urgency of getting to the mountain and saving the world and running from orcs was just way too serious and way to self important. Its the tone. Its a friendly and easy book, not serious and epic.
