Such a machine would be a “reality generator”. If the laws of physics were changed slightly the whole universe could fit in a standard eraser head and those inside would not notice it.

In between BTAS and Beyond, Bruce did boing Batgirl - that batgirl not being shot/paralyzed seemingly. It was revealed in “Return of the Joker” an incredible film well worth seeing.

This is where I will get the movie, if I see it....
