Back when I took pictures with a 35mm camera, I saw this. The standard 55mm lens was only so-so for taking pictures of people’s faces. I had to get so close that their noses seemed large. My 85mm lens was much better. With it I had to back off enough that their faces looked just right.

For the next iOS tweak, Apple might want enhance this. Have it trigger a special vibration (i.e. 3 shorts, pause, three shorts) for perhaps 5-10 seconds before ringing. Nothing or a full ring is a bit much.

Why does Apple make users turn all this stuff off? Just because a feature is new doesn’t mean everyone wants it.
