I'd like to get back to the old iTunes period. The new one is a disaster area, with the most obvious blunder being the fact that Apps-Updates no longer gives information about what is changed in the new app.

Haunt thrift stores looking for quality at marked-down prices. That applies to clothes as well as other items.

I took the wrong commuter train out of Munich and ended up in a little village late at night, far from the city and nowhere close to the hostel where I intended to stay. The weather looked nice, so I walked out of town on a wooded trail, found a nice spot and threw down a sleeping bag. I slept wonderfully. In the

Kids differ. From about 9 on, I loved to explore deep into rattlesnake infested woods. That makes the average home like remarkably safe. But then I grew up the the 1950s when parents and officials weren't such worry-warts.

Stable and with an large internal volume, it would seem to be ideal as a smaller cruise ship, particularly for rougher seas. The only negative might be that's there's less room for stateroom windows, except perhaps in the rear.

Just don't take anything they say about Ebola seriously. They're not ready for that one. It's so new, having only been around since the mid-1970s.

I'm delighted by my current car situation, and it might be a model for others.

I bought one for about $15 and it's perhaps the best investment you can make. I use it to spot hot spots where there's poor insulation in the attic and to check the temperature in my attic to spot areas need better ventilation. You can also use it to see how well reflective shades in windows work.

Don't they feed people in prison? A lot of these tips center on fixing meals on the sly.

This tips are probably best with someone who's carrying a rather heavy weapon asymmetrically and does so only part of the time.

I wonder if it'd be possible to place one of these piggy-back on the upper-deck of one of our old boomers. The mother sub would give it a quick, worldwide reach. The daughter sub would be most stealthy.

Yeah, but those that depend on Continuity will do no good for those have Macs or iPads that have the hardware to run it (Bluetooth 4), but no Apple support at present.

Parents might also like to download and play free, classic children's stories from:

Matters are going sour because the Obama administration is bumbling this one badly, much as it has in a host of other areas. Seven years of that administration have left the CDC in bad shape, more interested in fashionable causes than in doing what it was established for—controlling fatal diseases.

I lived for almost two months in Jerusalem and found no other place more fascinating. For second place, I'd pick London, assuming I could find an inexpensive place to live. I've also heard good things about Prague before it began to be overrun by English males only interested in getting drunk.

He seems to be missing two possibilities.

For iTunes especially, Apple needs to quit trying to force us do things its way, which seems to be a UI designed for illiterate four-year-olds with lots of time on their hands. The app should look at the existing iTunes preferences and default to a UI that most resembles the one we've been using. I had to spend about

If the latest iOS upgrade is any indication, Apple's servers are likely to be heavily loaded and thus a bit goofy when it first comes out. You might want to start the download late tonight when you go to bed or get up early.

Ah, but what iOS, OS X and the rest need most is Smart Title Uppercasing. It'd be smart enough, perhaps 95% of the time, to create the proper uppercasing for book titles and the like. That would save a lot of time and the other 5% wouldn't be that hard to correct.

Microsoft Word might be my "favorite word processor?" I had to do a quick double-take. This isn't April 1 is it? No.
