I haven’t played Fortnite in over a year (and really only played STW when I did), but even as a bystander I really do enjoy the amount of production value and very impressive technical effects they employ in these events.

I think it’s about a 2% chance. I’d be pleased if they did enforce their own rules, but judging from how every corporation in the US generally seems to behave (I guess with the weird exception of EPIC now?) , that channel will just sit there until the heat death of the universe, and they’ll harp on about how he’s a…
If Twitch dosn’t ban him (and let’s be honest, they’re cowards and they wont) for hate speech, they will lose whatever tiny little shreds of credibility they have left.
Woman shows a hint of skin for half a second? “BANNED!”
Man incites violence toward anyone that is not a conservative white man? “Hum, what an…
It will definitely not be another 5 years between sections. The core mechanics and gameplay, the majority of design work is done, the engine is done.
Came here for this comment. Was not disappointed. I still have a couple of those Ultima maps somewhere... I should really get a full set on eBay someday.
Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance 2 already exists. But I will gladly take a #3 Tim
I sold my extensive collection of cards in 2004 for about $400 as part of a giant Pokémon collection on eBay that included tons of Pokémon related merch I had. Part of me wishes I still had it, because I could almost certainly get more for all of that stuff now, but then I remember that the money I got from that…
You the fun part about not really being a Star Wars fan and being extremely ambivalent about the entire series and finding it hilariously overrated to the extreme? That I fully agree with this opinion.

I’d say, at least from personal experience, it does play some part in wanting to own specific weapons for “collection” reasons, or because they were from a specific game you love. I don’t own any firearms for instance, but there are indeed a few that I would buy purely based on the fact they were featured in games and…
Yeah, but in all cyberpunk fiction, the evil overloards always have fancy neo-French-Victorian attire and snazzy jackets or cybertattos for all the surfs, and as a relatively competent software developer, I could be at least a modestly useful cog in the whole corporate surveillance empire, so there’s a 50/50 chance…

I have to say, this is pretty incredible from a purely technical standpoint. For all the flack Fortnite gets, EPIC has really managed some amazing things.
As someone who played EQ2 for over a decade; it super does, which is weird. It looks like a strange hybrid of EQ2 and the aborted remains of EQ3/Landmark.
Prison is exactly where black hats belong. It doesn’t matter that it’s “non-violent”. We’re not talking about jailing some idiot teen caught smoking a joint or a homeless heroin addict who is, at worst, only harming themselves. DDoS attackers and other related cybercrimes are more equivalents to the malicious…
UE4 still has BSP brushes and in-engine poly modeling tools for simple shapes, if you so choose to use them, and landscape tools for terrain, so it’s not like you literally have to flip back and forth to Maya unless that’s just the workflow you use.
Personally, I was taught to grey box with BSPs and then go over that…
It’s tiny details like having vellus hair on character models that makes me love this era of game art. I live for that kind of subtle detail no one will ever, ever notice in-game.
Nope, you’re not alone; but a lot of people are just terrible at taking care of their things. I’ve never dropped a phone or cracked a screen in 13 years, nor have I ever had to clean anything out of the ports because I don’t let anything get into them in the first place.
I just try and ignore him and other people like him in situations like this. I don’t like boycotting an ostensibly good product made by dozens or hundreds of people just because one of them, who probably had the least to do with the actual day-to-day development, happens to be a ****.
Oh, you mean like literally every major studio in existence and almost certainly including Valve back when they still made games?
