For a “massively underpowered” console, PS4 seems to be doing quite well for itself in the graphics dept. Actually, save for an under-performing CPU? PS4 did quite well for itself. It pushed out a game that bests even PC releases (Uncharted 4).

While PC overhead usually cripples hardware performance relative to a console? The fact of the matter is, most modern games don’t run at even 60fps on PCs with 6TF cards, 8GB of GPU RAM, 16+ GB of system RAM and CPUs that are 10x more powerful than the Jaguar-based CPUs on modern consoles.
I don’t know why this is so hard for people to understand. If we are to believe Sony/Microsoft then PS4/Xbox One will always have to be supported. Always. You cannot release a game on PS4 Neo without also releasing it on PS4.
Except that their argument is based on the iOS/Android model, in which... So long as you exist in their eco-system, it’s “true” that there aren’t specific exclusives to the new hardware... Until there are actually exclusives to the new hardware because the old one ceases to be supported due to performance issues.
Considering how the last 8-10 months have gone for him? I’d say that’s how he’s looked for a long while now. He went from getting sacked from one of the most lucrative positions on worldwide TV, to getting hired to do the same thing in a different platform that’ll likely lead to equally widespread exposure/pay-off,…
“We could do all of those things... But then we realized we made Splatoon for the Wii U, so, like... no?”
It’s no secret that, even for 1997, the original Berserk anime looked bad.
Several people have already pointed this out, but it seems you’re completely clueless as to how much effort and hardware power is actually required to run games under emulation. PSX, N64 and Saturn emulators STILL struggle for accuracy in hardware that’s well over 100x more powerful than original hardware. And that’s…
“SNES” games on GBA don’t run on emulation, they had to be reworked for GBA’s chipset in order to run. The GBA is incapable of SNES software emulation. Yes, the GBA “could” run SNES games... As long as someone takes money, time and effort to port the games over from SNES’ hardware to GBA hardware. That’s called a…
Heft chunks of “Orion” are straight up lifted content and plagiarisim, Prassel also has a history of being a con artist.
1. None of the guns in BO3 are “real world guns”. Some of the ones in question bare passing resemblance to real world guns, but they’re sufficiently different enough to be considered original. Activision isn’t claiming rights to real world guns, because these aren’t real world guns, they aren’t models of real world…
This is why I do the exact opposite of your Snacktaku recommendations, Fahey!
Who’s your personal fave to come out on top at E3... Atlus or Square Enix?
Back in my day we had leashes for children! I say we bring those back!
ewwwwwwwwww.!
First the gorilla and now this... Children are a menace to [animal] society!
That partnership was about a lot more than controller support. It also included XB support via PC and future support for MS hardware and Windows UWP/UAP.
Uhhh, scoop? That partnership was announced last year at E3.
