I do think like in 2016 this is going to hurt Sanders, even though he’s clearly opposed to this sort of idiocy. Perceptions, fair or unfair, are powerful. He really doesn’t deserve it, but people will remember that abusive troll that loves Sanders harassing them on Twitter and it will bias them consciously or not.

What kind of fucking word salad is that? I’m not a POC, but I find it extremely cute when Berners try to explain to POCs what’s actually in their best interests.

I invite you to witness crazy (we were talking about senate races).  This guy is really nuts; his favorite tact is to assume anyone who pushes back against him is a rich white woman (I’m a poor brown woman if it even matters):

Not like super-delegates. I suggest reading the Medium piece. They address that explicitly.

You’re a centrist for supporting the second most progressive candidate, who agrees with Sanders on most substantive issues but is a bit more cautious in both presentation and policy details. It’s absurd.

I don’t have a stalker, but a random Berner kept coming after me one day for saying something similar.

Thank god you have your priorities down. Not the abhorrent racism and abuse. But that they didn’t endorse Sanders!  The nerve!  What names shall we call them?

Let me get my camera...

Okay, so during the time period relevant to this article, Congress was not GOP controlled....

Obama also tried to cut social security in pursuit of a “grand bargain.” That’s just who he was as a politician.

Yes, people forget how Congress was GOP controlled in 2009, just like they forget how George W. Bush lassoed Flight 93 out of the sky.

The 2009 Congress was not GOP controlled.

You know, I’ve seen a lot of former Obama alums admit that this is probably the greatest failure of his administration. Whether there was a more progressive alternative that was realistic is debatable, but the way the worst actors in the economy were largely spared from serious consequences and able to continue their
