Gee, it’s almost as if there isn’t a singular “Black American experience”, and that we are not a monolithic group with a hive mind. Bahamut, all the way. Specifically the FFX version. His design is fabulous(his wings and wheel are amazing!) And I love the personality that comes through in his actions. Comes off like Charizard(who ranks second) in that he’s powerful as all get out and he knows it, which gives him this kind of haughtiness.

There is a historical context that makes those two things different, though. There is a long history of using white actors to play POC, often in really racist portrayals, and there is no history of it going the other way.
