I find it hilarious some people feel the need to talk down to or make fun of cosplayers who simply have the desire to take as good a photo of their outfits as possible.

I absolutely see how unequal it is. But why would I risk my career?

My boyfriend works for a college and will not meet with female students alone (e.g. in a tutoring capacity) with doors closed. I get what others are saying in that it shouldn’t be this way, but rumors of sexual activity between students and teachers are very real and very, very damaging to your career. Doors open is

It has nothing to do with that. One rumor (even if denied by both parties) is enough to ruin a career.

You might wait, but the Publisher might not. They have to hit dates, or they have release windows that coincide with large marketing initiatives, or they want to release during a certain season. Additionally, a developer might not even have enough money to fund development for the time required to “finish” the game.

Same. I think it’s fucking awesome that he had that experience and learned from it, rather than doubling down on bullshit. He was educated and it stuck. That’s GREAT.

You know, I’m sure you’re just trying to be snarky or ironic or whatever the kids are calling it these days, but I get what Earl Sweatshirt’s saying? Like how when you’re, like, nineteen, talking or joking about raping people might seem ~*~cool~*~ or **eDgY*~ but then you grow up and realize, nope, that shit’s

Holy crap. I grew up in Huntsville (#2). There is a lot of tech jobs there, thanks to NASA and a bunch of defense contractors and the like. If you have a technical career in mind, there is work to be had there. Cost of living is pretty low too.

Huntsville, AL has a lot going for it. I’m not a native, but I currently live in the greater Huntsville metro area. The city is quite a bit different from the rest of the state and your typical stereotypes. A lot of that has to do with such a strong influence the tech and sciences that prevail here. Solid pay, lower

I know, I know. But I look at preorders at the store I frequent this way — I can pay a little here and a little there and not have to worry about scraping together cash when the games come out.

And, like, the WHOLE POINT is that if you have to be extraordinary in order to get paid the same as mediocre white men, THAT’S UNFAIR.

Assassins creed China??? And it's not a mobile game? They really need to put this series on hiatus for a few years.

It’s assimilation. Do they not teach this stuff in schools anymore? 2/10 for trolling though.

This is worse than that though, this is “pants that increase your speed in packs of five or ten because the effect wears off after ten minutes.”

Fun memory: In high school I proved my classmates, as a whole, were racist. In a family studies presentation, I handed out a survey asking their views on different points related to transracial adoption. Unbeknownst to them, there were actually two versions. One had a question that asked if they would have a problem

Almost certainly. Changing how the game loads data to memory is bound to be more complicated than fixing a few lines of code to prevent item duplication.

Or the load time problem is a significantly more difficult problem to address, which is far more likely.

Another problem is that behavior that they wouldn't even notice in a white girl but identify as aggression or unacceptable attitude from a black girl.

Part of the problem is that white girls are just troubled girls acting out, but black girls are treated as grown women way too much, even when we're like 12.
