The story missions are marked with a big "!". Anything else is optional. It's been like this since AC2.

ME3 today!

You and me both. I've rarely looked forward to a game this big and I just got into the series this year with ME2. All of Jan I was Shepherd and loved every minute of it.

I think so. Technically you aren't getting it in the packaged game so it would be full d/l content, therefore an PSN/XBLA game.
