Can we expect a Zakk Wylde signature edition set? There's hardly anything Marshall makes that doesn't eventually get a bullseye slapped on it.

I've thought long and hard about this for at least 4 minutes, and I've decided that the problem is that women writers like to write about women characters, and are simply unable to create authentic female SF characters. By "authentic" I of course mean the "men with boobs, except when they melt into the arms of a real

I'm basically unhappy with every single design choice the filmmakers have made so far. I'm a huge Green Lantern fan... I have most of the late 1970's issues, and most of the modern graphic novels.

@HidingInCanada: It is better to watch in big chunks. While you're watching it, the bad episodes stand out just as bad as when you're watching it week-to-week, but in big chunks you get big enough portions of the good stuff to make it worth your while.

Games cost too much damned money for me to turn them into a job where I have to actually work for stuff to impress total strangers. Unlike a lot of folks, I take the word "game" seriously by not taking the games too seriously.

@Morgan Culp: Nope. You're defending theft. I'm just posting.

@Delano_J: If you weren't going to pay for it but you use it anyway, you're a thief with a really pathetic rationalization. If you aren't willing to pay, don't use it... period.

First off, and most obviously... "The Annalee and Charlie Jane Show" is already about 100X more promising that "The Event". Based on the bong hits, maybe a show on HBO.

Two points:

Why was there even a discussion? Contract negotiations? Otherwise, W-13 is a big hit for them, and doesn't look particularly expensive to produce.

This movie looks like it could be awesome, because it has the creepy kid from Silent Hill in it. I can see drinking a ton of beer, popping this movie in at home, and shouting "SHARON!!!" at the screen every time the kid shows up, until I pass out or my wife clubs me over the head with a brick.

@Illundiel: Not me... I'm going to punch it in the head until it gives up.

I only have to say one thing:

@ImprobableJoe: Oh, and maybe we should go after milk for all that unnatural pasteurization and homogenizing?

I'm glad they dropped the "all-natural" label, since I always read it as "marketed to suckers" anyways. Since ice cream doesn't occur in nature either, how do we determine how much processing makes something "unnatural"? It seems like an artificial(pun definitely intended) dividing line.

I'd be more than happy with a Michael Bay "Superman" movie. Superman is the "ultimate Boy Scout", a character who has relatively little depth because he's supposed to have a simplistic enough viewpoint of right and wrong that he isn't tempted to exploit his powers for his own pleasure or advancement. It is fundamental

So is this going to be on BEFORE "The Good Guys" on Friday nights, or AFTER "The Good Guys" on Friday nights?

I always thought that the PC advantage for FPS, if true, was an unrealistic advantage that should be removed from PC FPS games. Console shooters aren't less than PC versions, the PC versions are ridiculously unrealistic. As someone who has real world experience with firearms, the sort of accuracy you find in console
