My favorite is changing the alternator in an MR2. The alternator itself is located on the back bottom of the engine, above the subframe, between the outside wall and the trunk, next to the exhaust, on the passenger side. Your options are:
- Drop the motor enough so you can remove it directly

I’ve spent a good deal of time over there and what I could glean was that there is almost no tuner scene. Modifying cars is generally illegal since all are under very strict controls. There is supposedly an underground racing scene but it has to fly far below the radar and I wasn’t able to get a glimpse of it.

I would say the width stagger is more important than the diameter stagger, as long as the tires reflect that. It’s hard to tell in this case, but it may well be a double fail.
