That’s just all patently untrue outside of Apple having 3x the market cap. Facebook is every bit the global player that Apple is and arguably impacts just as many, if not more, users. I’ve never read such cynical Apple fanboy nonsense. I’m not even a fan of Meta, but lets keep things in perspective. Also, Apple

Why is the company that’s released 4 (well, maybe just 1 post-acq) moderately successful headsets and driven what little adoption VR has in the marketplace considered a little dog?

Currently it is.

Reminder, kids: always play offline/disable automatic updates while you're away.  Dont let grouchy companies take away the fun you dropped almost 100 bucks for.

They still function without connecting to a phone. Mine has a few albums saved to it, can Bluetooth to headphones, and record a workout while I listen to that download all without my phone present. It can connect to wifi by itself and play games or use other apps without needing a phone, much like any internet based

You’re missing the part that this is getting easier and cheaper really quick, we’re not years away, more like months. And think again about targeting “rich” people (no one cares about them anyway), it’s poor/elderly people who will be targeted the most for small sums (2k-10k). Just imagine getting a video call at 3am

The target must be highly valuable for anyone to want take a stab at making a deepfake.

This is a real shame, I enjoyed Lockwood & Co and was hoping for more - should’ve known better after Netflix did the same to The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself, a thoroughly enjoyable adaptation of Half Bad by Sally Green.

HELL to the yes!

RIP Terry, you were amazing and a huge part of my childhood

This is at least based around lengthy conversations Neil and Terry had regarding the sequel they never got a chance to write, so while it may lack Terry’s signature footnotes and third thoughts, I’m hoping for at least a few stand-out Pratchetty moments.

Oddly though, Neil mentioned in an interview that their

I hope this is great. The book is amazing and season one was great. I am worried that the loss of Sir Pratchett might dull the humor a bit.

You’re wrong though. The solution being provided isn’t a phone that can fold, but a tablet that you can fairly easily put in your pocket. Tablets often get left behind on a daily basis due to their size, but this doesn’t need to be the case if you can put it in your pocket as easily as you do your phone.

Nope. It’s not about phone number harvesting. 2FA is about further securing access to accounts. Just because you set a long, strong password, doesn’t mean that someone can’t hack or steal it. 2FA adds another layer of security after the password is entered.

Never had a single failed authentication after using Google Authenticator for years and years.  It’s about as simple and clean as it can possibly be (which is sometimes a bad thing because it lacks so many features).  But it definitely reliable and simple.  Not sure why it would fail for you.

100% wrong on this one pal

The only kind of 2FA that needs a phone number is SMS, which is subject to several types of attack, but is better than nothing. The Authenticator apps never asks for a phone number, and is measurably superior to SMS 2FA, even with this flaw. But the best option is a U2F or FIDO2 hardware token. Which also never needs

This is just a demonstrably false statement, lol. I really hope it was satire.

Of all the ways you could’ve artistically rendered these characters, going with the most corporate, sanded-down version of them was certainly a choice.

Will the artist make a sticker for a new Kang?

Dude, have you been under a rock for the past year?
