We were just happy for a return of collaboration with Joe Hisaishi on the music. ALL our fave Miyazaki-Ghibli films had that extra magic of Joe Hisaishi and the lesser ones were lacking emotional impact from the missing collaboration.

the film’s version of Godzilla did not have much personality

Most wireless charging will also suspend or throttle down the charging speed as heat increases (like misaligned coils or cases that insulate that heat from dissipating fast enough). I can see lots of scenarios where even if the supporting protocols and components are present the charging experience doesn’t reach the

Not a fan of Pop Sockets - Ohsnap V3 Pro has been on the back of my case and is much slimmer profile to get the phone closer to the wireless charger. Also much more comfortable to hold.

I’m encouraged that Google has kept it going so long after it purchased Waze. I know it’s feeding the crowdsourced Waze traffic data into Maps but, still it’s nice to see new features making their way into Waze.

I would say as my kids were small, we all loved Studio Ghibli’s early work - the combo of Miyazaki and Hisaishi’s musical accompaniment made classic and memorable stories. As my kids matured into more sophisticated subject matter - we found what seemed to be missing in a lot of SG recent releases present in Shinkai’s

You know “colloquialism” and” “pedant” are actual words, too!

That could be because the Quest ecosystem, like Apple’s app store, is a walled garden filled with for-purchase games and productivity apps.”

There’s a game called Synapse on PSVR2 that makes really effective use of eye-tracking to target objects and I think it’s very nicely executed. The eye-tracking is getting there on my Quest Pro - but it didn’t get the support it should have in applications to truly demonstrate its capabilities.

The passthrough quality is highly dependent on lighting. It definitely looks better in my brighter lit rooms and worse as it gets darker.

i buy both so there’s a better chance of both apple or samsung users to help track my things.

This is not new - I had the Lenovo X1 Fold at the end of 2020 - this is just a bigger screened version of that same form factor (right down to the magnetic keyboard slice). That was considered overpriced at that time as well (my company bought it for me).

Dang, wait list is already full for SF (actually across the Bay Bridge in Emeryville).

I’ve always loved Ray Stevenson - but only recently got to enjoy him in Rome since I missed the original series broadcast. RIP, great one.

Meanwhile they’ve delayed making higher quality audio streaming available. I’m switching to Amazon Music to truly take advantage of the higher end audio gear I purchased.

I have the camera version of the Govee for my 83" OLED - it is fast enough and works well other than sometimes OLED pixels are too intense and it has trouble color matching with the camera due to that.

Hue also would degrade the signal if you were trying to do 4K@120hz gaming.

Nah, I’ve got some Rokid Max glasses - can game lying down just fine and they’re Micro-OLED, so much better brightness, saturation, and contrast than this mini projector. Oh, and they’re several hundred dollars cheaper.

You know how there’s often people who lament big screen phones? This is the compromise - little screen for basics and unfold for big screen antics.

Just how do you protect yourself against such a bizarre cyberattack?”
