I actually prefer winding my cables into different sizes of Cocoon Gridit panels which is just a panel with elastic sticky straps criss crossed to keep everything tightly secured. The advantage of a Gridit is that you can quickly and easily move the panel between whatever bag you plan to take on your outing or trip.

I actually hate being on the ground to play on my projector/OLED setups because of the forced height difference of your eye level.
