I read the books many times since my childhood in the 80s. When the movies showed all the different locations and they were delightfully faithful to how the books filled my imagination.

And then, Rivendell.

I couldn’t control tears welling up while I sat in that theater amazed of what they had accomplished. Somehow

Improvements are minimal, but due to the preorder discounts, bundle credits, and higher trade-in value at launch - I added a titanium Galaxy Watch 5 Pro for $34 dollars to my Fold 4 preorder. This was not even with a trade-in, as I priced the GW5 separately with a trade in of my GW4 Classic and got it down to $250.

I never minded the fact that they had this commute service - it was the stupid panel that always seemed super easy to accidentally swipe to and then was 10 times harder to get back to the actual navigation screen while I was trying to just find my way somewhere that I have a developed hatred for Waze Commute.

If the experience is compelling and exclusives worth it, I might overlook that it’s corded. Probably will get this to play alongside QuestPro/Cambria when those come out too.

I just found my old Bleem! disc as I was cleaning up a box full of old stuff the other day, lol.

I was watching that animated Farzar series on Netflix and instantly recognized Lance Reddick’s voice as Renzo - which was a trip because I don’t remember Reddick ever playing a character so irreverent that curses and saying stuff so crude.

Just acquired new HDR displays (4K projector and 4k OLED) and one of the very first things I tested was rewatching The Long Night episode of GOT. This is even before this announcement and I want to see even then, I was able to see everything much better than my old non-HDR displays.

I watched the first season with my kids - but none of us were that interested in the second season. Was it any good?

I registered and so did my Wife - somehow she got picked while I, who’s had the PS account since PS3 era, am still waiting.

Somehow my Wife scored one before Christmas directly from Sony when they started doing their lottery. Are they still doing that?

Yes, everyone post your passwords here so we can all weigh in on how secure they are!

It’s a reverse sale, lol.

Apple’s going to have to come in somewhere around $1500 “

My man - your very first complaint is lack of userbase means lack of developers - but you expect THAT pricepoint to go mainstream, lololololol.

I’m hoping these competitors don’t get stuck in neutral like all the other high end headsets because they’re going to

I’m in my home now staring at my NAS wondering when this tech will trickle down to consumer storage and that array becomes obsolete.

Sony hopes will make you “almost forget you are using a headset or controller.”

there’s a frustrating lack of content”

Interested, if only as another archive area to diversify my backup locations. I have a 36TB NAS running RAID that needs offsite redundancy for certain content - but I need to know if access can be locked behind MFA for on-demand access, and certs/keys for encrypted sync w/ the NAS.

This is why I discovered the rule of eating them first to keep them from melting and the rest of the meal after, lol.

Baaahhh! I actually just threw my pen across my desk in anguish, lol.

You see Pablo Schreiber with a beard? I think he can pull off the intensity. Also, does everyone remember when his bro Liev played Sabertooth? Makes even MORE sense!

This is only after my original favorite - Brett Goldstein from Ted Lasso already got cast in a forthcoming MCU role. So many times when he went on an
