Nah, I got burnt trusting Google already for a chat app only to have them sunset the service - 2, 3 apps ago? Sad that they haven’t learned their lesson.

I struggled to justify a Steam Deck over just playing games on my S22 Ultra in a controller like the Kishi that gives close to that Switch form factor. Not that $$ was a factor, but more that is it worth to carry -another- handheld around. Instead I just dumped that money into a head mounted display to get 1080p OLEDs

No matter how much tech advances to the sensor, it doesn’t matter when the pictures look like watercolor paintings when you pixel peep the details.
Hopefully, Samsung continues to improve their algorithms so their processing doesn’t step all over the image output.

Maybe they are trying to improve on thebelt-around-your-neck” accessory for those autoerotic asphyxiation VR sexy times? If you linked it with a smartwatch that could do the O2 blood sensor, it could automatically turn the air back on and save people maybe?
Those kinky Austrians!

Samsung would be on their 4th gen of their Fold/Flips, by the time Google releases this. I finally was comfortable with the product maturity and got a Z Flip 3 for my Wife and she loves it.

With the trouble buyers had with the Pixel releases lately, I actually have less confidence the Pixel Foldables will not have

Projector technology has improved so much that I’ll likely not go back to emissive displays for my home theater until they can reach the size I currently enjoy for the price I can pay.

Uh no - not all of them are white, as they do make pj screens that are light gray, actually. My 135" was that type until I upgraded to a 144". The gray is supposed to help with contrast, but pretty much couldn’t tell the difference since we sit so far back from the screen.

You can kind of get this “modularity” with smartphones that have a desktop interface like Samsungs, Motorolas, etc. and plug that into a USB-C “lapdock”. A popular one is the line of Nexdock: https://nexdock.com/explore-nexdock/

How effective is the object avoidance at detecting and avoiding things like power lines?

“Raimi’s back, baby,” I muttered to myself in the back of the theater. “My man is fucking back.”

If they can put a foldable full-color OLED in my Lenovo X1 Fold, I’d be surprised if they couldn’t accomplish this with e-Ink. Being able to squish a 13" windows tablet in half to fit in a smaller bag has been awesome in more than a year of use - so I support whatever they do to advance the screen tech.

My dream has

He truly was great in Adam Project playing a younger version of the smart ass Ryan Reynolds character.

I love Pablo Schreiber - but depending on what someone has seen him in before, I can’t help to think some person saw the face reveal of Master Chief and immediately thought “Pornstache??!!”.

ok. Since they announced they were stopping support updates for v1, I already switched my lone v1 camera to stream the inside a little birdhouse I bought on Amazon. Have at it haxxors!

Just ordered. I have an iPhone from work, but I’ve also got a case for my S22 Ultra that gives it Magsafe powers. They make them for lots of phones now. Or you can get a metal ring that can stick to your case, but in my experience when the phone wirelessly charges it can heat up the adhesive so that the ring falls

Maaaaybe. But I’d rather they bring back the dual-pane File Manager view that went away with Win 3.1. This way I can manage both panes in a single window instead of launching and wrangling two separate windows (and it sucks because it’s not simple to go down to a single pane to bring them side by side in Explorer,

None of the Star Wars properties? I keep bringing up the Lightsaber Dojo levels of the 3 eps of Vader Immortal having deep replay value and Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is the next best thing to going to the IRL theme park.
Also, Pistol Whip is like “John Wick, The Musical” when I want to pick up a quick game of blast

I’m sure you mean that “drive” is just how a NAS w/ redundant storage is exposed on your home network, my Bro. Don’t be the guy who one day loses all his eggs when his one 18TB basket decides to eat it.

iTunes = strict DRM about that time, sooo hard no.

Welp, I still have the excellent micro 4/3 Panasonic 12-35mm 2.8 and 35-100 2.8s, but my uses to shoot with those lenses have been overlapped now that I’ve added Sony FF to my kit. Maybe it’s time to sell those lenses off as I mainly use my micro 4/3 for super tele in broad daylight for the weight and size savings.
