Oh I agree with you - but in practice, I have a few wireless chargers that every now and then get unplugged just so I can get the speed of a wired charge. Then the cable becomes loosey goosey unless you have some way to manage it (i use a magnetic holder on the cable end so I can slip it back and hide it again).

Yes, but for your aesthetic reasons - if you’re not aggressively doing cable management, your wireless charger needs a wireless charger because there’s still that cable coming from the power adapter to the pad that you have to worry about.
