To some people, the appealing distinction is the convenience of not fiddling with the cable whenever you need to charge.

I’ve been using the thin, ceramic ring-holders that let the wireless power come through instead of blocking it.

Yes, but for your aesthetic reasons - if you’re not aggressively doing cable management, your wireless charger needs a wireless charger because there’s still that cable coming from the power adapter to the pad that you have to worry about.

Ok, but also make a Brock Samson spinoff of his days in the OSI. With liberal helpings of Molotov Cocktease, please!

Some of this you already get in Samsung’s DeX (desktop mode) that triggers when you plug one of their phones or tablets into a larger screen and runs in a desktop interface off the phone. Also you guys keep mentioning Android tablets are terrible - but for the past few years, I’d rather use an Android tablet with

How does it compare to my go to, Thrill of the Fight? I love that game and it definitely gets more visceral going up against different levels of opponents. Kind of like a VR Punch Out.

I actually like the design better than my Audezes - but it’s hard to go back to regular dynamic drivers once I tried planar magnetic. The Penrose and Mobius are only $300 and $400 compared to these M&D, too.
Here’s Gizmodo’s original review of the Mobius back in ‘18:

I’ve had LFE transducers installed into a platform that my theater seating rests on top of for a while now. This not only supplements and enhances the bass, but also allows you to turn off your subwoofer while still enjoying the low-frequencies when it’s late at night to not disturb housemates and neighbors.

Well, that extra RAM may come in handy if Google finally finalizes and releases that desktop mode (turns into a chromebook-like experience when you dock it to a bigger screen and bluetooth mouse and keyboard like Samsung’s DeX mode).

I have two parents fighting breast and colon cancer right now. The whole family got vaxxed and masks up (the whole 9 as we pretty much treat them like bubble-boy and have implemented airlock protocols, etc to do our best to not bring something to them). The critical thing is that they need care and we all take turns he

I saw recent rumors of an upmodel Quest coming with OLED displays - I’ll immediately add that if it drops.

Everyone so far complaining about price (esp. when it seems you’re getting less for paying more money) but I bet the vocal minority of Quest-haters that want VR but complain about Facebook will gladly overpay for an inferior experience such as this just so they can pwn the Zuck.

I agree with a lot of your points, and you’re absolutely right on a lot of them. Obviously you feel very strongly since you wrote a lot of words on the subject - but ultimately the public at large can’t care less on your objections and bought boatloads of Quest 2s and there seem to be a ton of developers following

Quest 2 user here - I enjoy mine, but there are deficiencies in the execution (FOV could be bigger and screen contrast lacking without OLED). I would upgrade to a better option if/when it comes along, but the real challenge now is that there’s so much momentum for the Oculus platform due to all the sales of the Q2

The Luna Display Now Lets Windows PCs Use an iPad as a Second Wireless Screen”

Is this where they got the design?

What build problems? That’s not exactly a common complaint about this phone on the S21 forums. I have a S21 Ultra from launch-day preorders and it’s been rock-solid (with only some temporary overheating problems during web-conferencing that went away after a firmware update).

I have wired ethernet throughout my house - but I do have enough newer devices that can run on that 6Ghz band and decreasing the congestion on the 5Ghz spectrum is appealing.

At least you could set up Tile Groups in the old Metro UI. Win 11 start menu doesn’t let you make any type of sub-container for icon organization, which sucks for me and my preferences.

Not for a dream job, but doing this got me my very first in my 27 year career of several dream jobs in IT (current one included). I had no official work experience with computers, but put in my application to a local PC repair shop that I worked for their recently-shuttered competitor for 9 months in the equivalent ent
