Hmm, didn’t realize that was a thing - most VR users I know immediately swap out the foam for a silicon interface (makes it easier to wipe it down between users and so the down doesn’t soak up your sweat).

Hey congrats! I’m glad you got it working and saves you from having to rip and replace that DVR for now. I love Virtualbox!

YW and Sorry, I should have mentioned some flavors of Windows include HyperV so that will save you from downloading and running a 3rd party VM solution - that’s just my preference running Virtualbox.

YEP - had a blast playing this with my kids! It’s refreshing in that it’s collaborative instead of competition type of game.

ScreenCheat - you play with your screen showing your opponents POV instead of your own. Believe it’s available on multiple platforms.

Yeah, it’s been years since I’ve been on the Heldpesk side, but one thing that was super useful with it was the summary of drives and free space.

I was mad when they got rid of the ability to collapse groups into a single icon. I had this system where I made a bunch of groups that I load apps into by category, then expand and select as needed. You can manage tons of apps this way with smaller screen real estate and less activity to launch.

You can’t even resize

Hopefully they don’t become an attack vector like Sidebar Gadgets were (and reason why they were removed).

I can’t find it now, but someone made a comic where Clippy was speaking into a microphone as Cortana.

Use something like VirtualBox to run a locked-down VM with the version of Windows that can still run your plugin. Never use that for anything other than accessing your DVR and block its access to the web so you have less chance of succumbing to attack since you’ll be running an unsupported and non-secured version of

I put BGInfo on servers - but prefer my desktops to have a clean wallpaper view.

Not interested in Duo, but really want them to finally release Neo - especially now that Win 11 is being previewed that has the UI enhancements that were supposed to come in Win 10x.

I actually don't use edge bar as I've been using Pie Control forever instead. I think at some point I downloaded some other means to make split window shortcuts, but I don't remember now.

Yes, I’m familiar, as I’ve had the Q2 since launch and it’s not my first VR - but you’re telling me you’ve never gone beyond your guardian boundary in the heat of the moment?

Pretty sure it’s standard trade in credit + an additional $100. Would be pretty crappy to trade in a $500 device and only get $100 out of it.

Yes, building in VR versions of the room furniture is useful - I have a pretty big space, but there are times in VR, I’ve punched my projector screen by accident because I’ve been too lazy or forgot to raise it. Luckily the screen just rebounds and doesn’t get damaged - I could imagine a real TV or monitor wouldn’t

Is it an OLED? Because I’m just waiting on LG to make available stock of their 32" (32EP950) before I drop $4K on one.

Yep, the S20 Ultra was notorious because Samsung made the bad design of the whole rear camera panel into glass. Made for plenty angry customers who would lean on a table with the phone in their front pocket and suddenly have it look like this.

Sounds like you had some battery/memory optimization still enabled on Waze, which on the newer versions of Android, you should be able to granularly turn off per-app.  I’ve never had this issue and even when I’m on another screen, i could hear the navigation prompts through the audio, so I knew it was running.
