They left the Genki portable dock off the list, as well. That thing automatically gets added to my bag for trips because not only is it as small as the OEM wall wart itself, but I use it as a DeX dock for plugging a Samsung phone into a bigger display for desktop mode.

I don’t know how you get down in the bedroom - but if you’ve ever had your salad tossed...
On a related note, a bidet is AWESOME as a prep-step if you’re into that.
Did you get the angels’ chorus and harp music at the discovery, like I did too?
If this wasn’t already the song playing in my head every time I finish, I’d try to make this some autoplay setting, haha.
Also related to water, but in another way - funny thing I discovered with the fancy, heated-bidet I bought for my master bath is it actually has a feature that helps with this. It pushes a slightly stronger, pulsing stream of water that can assist with encouraging your bottom to empty out (like an enema but only water…
Definitely dropping some nuggets here.
I have the opposite problem where I am normally in range of multiple “assistants” in my household in some areas and issuing commands will get several that will answer - even though they are -supposed to be- smart enough to know which one is closest to you and pass off interaction with that one.
Once I upgraded my gaming rig, CEMU is one of the first things I launched with BOTW in highest quality. Are there any other titles you’re using it for?
Thanks! BI is now running in my media server with my old GTX1070 which is handling h265 like a dream - so not burdening CPU with that.

Running a Blue Iris server for years now. Even with Ring and Nest coming along, nothing compelling enough to make me switch. The older generation v1 & v2 Wyze cams have an RSTP firmware that makes them work well with Blue Iris (v3 is still a hope to get it).

I set these up for my Mom’s place - we found out too late the stupid Cloud service limits to 60 days for the most premium offering and no longer than that. It’s fine for most people - but they should be up front that you can’t have or even purchase as an option any higher/longer retention.

THIS. Had another IT guy talk about his new Arlo setup - said he did alll this research and finally settled on that as THE ONE. The next month I asked him about it and sheepishly told me he regretted it and was again looking for a replacement system.

You’re talking about current state of capability of these consoles, whereas I don’t plan to do another round of upgrades when that comes to fruition.

You bring up a really good point and it didn’t occur to me that maybe they can fold a TV for transport and making it hide like our motorized protection screens? As long as people can afford it, the tech for folding a TV is not that far away.

Presbycusis is a thing, and those who are advanced in age already kind of realize that your sensitivity for higher frequencies starts to drop off as you get older. I have some hearing damage from standing too close to speakers while yoinger on top of that, so I’m thankful for the newer audio options that tailor the…
The article body does start off with the author posing the context of using this for gaming and then goes on to say “We’re not strictly talking about gaming here, though that’s definitely a consideration.”

Since my PJ is in my great room, I need something with high lumens - I’ve crowdfunded several Anker products and even got a loyalty code to go in on their Cosmos, but it didn’t have some minimum reqs for my setup.

Sorry, was going by the actual title and context of the article. It doesn’t call for “What’s a decent, budget projector to watch movies”, and since most people consider “Home Entertainment” to include gaming from console or PC -that tightens the selection parameters. Finally since the word “BEST” is also in the title, …

My main display in my great room has been various 1080P projectors shooting at a motorized 144" screen for 10 years now. I was expecting this year to be when I jump to 4K.
When you ask what’s the best projector to upgrade to: For me, the current answer is NOTHING.
