Seems that videos uploaded direct from my phone are crap-ified, but if I first transfer the same video to my PC then upload that way it looks better. Or maybe it’s the other way around, I gave up at some point and just accepted it would look like crap no matter what.

Our first gen RX100 is such a good camera when going to shows. You’re not usually getting in with a DSLR and zoom lens to shoot concerts and this thing has way better image quality than cellphone sensor and optics when challenged with concert lighting.

So many naysayers/doomsayers on this thread trying to come off as some authority, yet with outdated opinions. Why not just load an install of the available tech preview onto a VM and test it out before you spew your uninformed point of view. If you’re saying anything negative without even doing this step, I can’t take…
I expect more venues will start live-broadcasting in 360 video as soon as end users get good VR options. I’d pay some money to be able to put on a set of goggles and virtually experience these events.

I know someone made Flappy Bird on the Pebble - but I want someone to make one that requires you to actually flap your arms using the smartwatch motion sensors to control the bird on your smartphone. Not for me to play, mind you - I want to sit back and watch people look ridiculous.

I went in on the Iris+ deal on Radio Shack for $599 Giz posted a short while ago. I'm still within the return window - anyone think this is a better one to go with for this DJI? I know pricewise, the Iris+ is better (esp. if you already have a GoPro, because for $200 more gets you a 2D gimbal)

The thing we used in our conference room table just conked out. I'm putting one of these in as a replacement and this has more ports so more people can charge!
I stick one in my trunk so I can see into it better at night.
