Too bad these are the dullards that never realize the point of this article - which I think most intelligent people without a bias were already thinking, but just nice to have someone come out and say it for the benefit of others. My Android and iOS users know by now my opinions and my excitement to see great

see my comment about the fanboyz being the same people, just switching allegiance and continuing being obnoxious.

What I've found is the really obnoxious fanboyz started jumping on Android's bandwagon when they thought Apple wasn't cool enough anymore and now say the same obnoxious things in the name of Android. See, they're all really the same people.

But it's not as bad as the days of Biddle and Diaz. They were so laughably biased with their articles and comments it was tiresome to read.

Actually, a joke where someone is made to feel uncomfortable - however unintentional - is no longer "just a joke" but can be harassment. If someone within earshot of the joke feels like they're indirectly the subject being laughed at, then it's crossing a line.

hmm, I know I loaded that animated gif livewallpaper on my android, time to make use of it!

Agreed - the newer version of LG Tones are about this price or less and get both, including APT-X audio quality.

Voice Commands also increase the usability of my smartwatch. Imagine not even having to pull your phone out to do a lot of these handy commands. On the Gear 2 I have there's also a speaker so it gives voice responses like on the phone.

NO, that's how the zombie plague starts.

This is how I rationalize just about all my purchases, lol.

For everyone mounting on their dash or next to their A-pillars (that's to the left or right of your windshield), make sure it's not where there's an airbag (usually there's a little airbag symbol, but maybe not always). If you get in an accident and the airbag next to/under your phone mount deploys, you or a passenger

I'll get this to gesture/voice control my HTPC!

That Black Magic Cinema is like half off a normally $1K unit - WHY? Have video shooters started to ignore this for the GH4 or what?

I frequently run multiple tabs (usually at least 10+) in multiple windows on multiple rigs with Chrome and don't see that at all. Of course I'm also running ad and flash blockers since doing this with any browser will slow the machine to a creep.

Or the "magic" of doing the build yourself has worn off after years of doing it. Every once in a while I'll build for a friend for fun and nostalgia, but there's a point where you move on to tinker and spend money on other things - as building pc rigs becomes as pedestrian as oil changes to mechanics.

I promised I'd use mine for personal photo and video backups. Even though media is much cheaper now, the problem is hard drive storage is so cheap compared to using up time to burn all that data to optical. I just buy a bunch of hard drives for cold storage onto which I dump redundant copies of everything and

THIS. I use a ProClip to mount to the dash w/ the Move plates so we can interchange our phone mounts to the car we're driving. I also have a cd-slot mount for when I use a rental.

THIS. Newegg was selling the HDHR4 at the beginning of the year for less than $100 so I scored one and hooked it up to an amplified antenna from Radio Shack. It's been working great - no DVR because I'd rather scoop shows up via Sickbeard with the commercials already cut out.

Not a hardcore gamer, but I have my consoles and home-built HTPC/gaming rig hooked up to an Onkyo 7.2 surround audio system that I installed myself. I also use a wireless Turtle Beach headset with a separate amp running bass actuators in my couch so I could still feel the bumps when I turn the audio down to play at

Plenty of other users have figured out how to put a tablet in their dash - I've been putting devices on my dashboard since the pocketpc days, so I've had years to improve my system. I've gone over the hardware before in previous posts, so I won't get into it - just that I can connect any bluetooth device to my stock
