Counterpoint: Phish and the Grateful Dead are absolutely fucking terrible. I hate Joe but even a broken clock blah blah blah.

The Killers played before Bruce at the Pinkpop festival a few years back, with Flowers joining Bruce onstage later for Thunder Road. It was kinda adorable to hear Flowers unable to compose himself for the first few lines and then go “full Brandon Flowers” the rest of the song.
I did vote for Teachout at the primary level, and I remember my voting precinct was almost empty. All those who claimed to give a shit when Bernie emerged on the scene were nowhere to be found when we needed them a few years ago.
Except that we had a chance to vote for Teachout at the primary level and did not. Shame on us.
I won’t pretend that I didn’t go see them at a Festival thingy once, and have my mind accidentally blown. Walked in like, “pshh, the Killers.” Walked out like, “holy crap they just rocked my face off.”
Sadly he was better than both alternatives (Carl Paladino and Rob Long).
He should be allowed nowhere near the 2020 presidential election.
That is just beautiful. Mangum opus. Also LOL forever at Bflows.
I’m a fellow state employee, and the sentiment in my agency is the same. There were some good/better feelings towards him in the aftermath of November 9th (maybe a Trump presidency will push him towards being a true progressive instead of just playing one on TV?) but that’s out the window now.
I work a civil service job in NYS and he is loathed. But the alternative, on his first go-round at least, was Carl fucking Paladino.
And DT got elected based on the same tactics. Rich white guys mislead, it’s their thing.
Was listening to the Killers UV Light My Way while reading this. Left disappointed.
Just because of this list I don’t entirely hate 2016.
This is a good list
Yaaasss. I haven’t listened to the killers in way to long. Just the thing to get this party started with.
the purity of his soul
Suddenly have hope for the future, this child has done the good work on this day.
Ah, youth. I tried listening to those Jacques Lu Cont remixes but I’m just too old
