I didn’t know that wasn’t the case - just another reason to stick with the Gmail version, I guess. Thanks!

In my experience, iChat’s search function isn’t as useful as Gchat (or Hangouts, I guess) - it’ll show when a term most recently appeared in a conversation, but not all the discrete instances. Plus, it’s nice to be able to search my email and chats at once....although maybe there’s a hidden iChat functionality I’m…
Yup. On my main Gmail account I have years’ worth of conversational records. I’d hate to lose them all, so I put up with Google’s nonsense.
I have resigned myself to being shackled to whatever inferior chat products Google continues to trot out until the end of my days, for one simple reason: archived chat logs are searchable in my Gmail client. The bastards have me over a barrel.
Ah, Billy.
I mean, it’s Tumblr, so it’s mostly teenaged girls, but I’m fascinated... Generally if you look through the “upthebaguette” tag, you’ll find a lot of delightful francophone political and cultural nonsense, including gifs and clips of Yann Barthes (yum) and the merry staff of Quotidien:
On peut discuter la sécurité en France, si vous voulez. Voici la citation intégrale de Macron dont vous avez citée:
*also shout-out to french political tumblr, aka my new favorite corner of the internet!
C’est un homme who doesn’t have le temps for your merde, Donald.
GOD. As someone living in France (but not a French citizen) with pretty ambivalent feelings about Macron, this is really making me appreciate him more and more...which I can’t help but think was his goal all along.

classic meme.
Hmm. I think you’re underselling the amount of potential detail about the characters that these tweets and the accompanying images are conveying. Certainly it’s the same level of information as “Jaws on paws.”
I mean, there are people in Hollywood who built entire careers out of pitches that weren’t any longer than that tweet/tumblr post:
Is your objection to casting against the wishes of the foundation primarily a legalistic or an artistic one? It seems like you’re conflating the two here.
It’s an extremely efficient mooning. Eurovision’s the most popular televised non-sporting event in the world.... and it routinely draws more viewers than the Super Bowl.
For relaxing times... make it Suntory time.
No, these are people responding to that atmosphere.
The degree to which sportswriters perennially downplay Serena’s utter domination of modern tennis is a scandal.
