I agree with a lot of what you wrote, except the age part of the NBA's fan base. If you go to a few games, (I go to mostly Knick games, but I have been to DC and Oakland/LA) the average age is probably north of 40 and about 80% of the fans are white.

You have an interesting way of doing math.

You should reread the post. The author clearly linked to sites that were "upset" and exposed the bigots. This shouldn't be so confusing to basically anyone.

Yes, but that is vastly different than saying he is a "dumb fighter" because he didn't see the one punch that caught him. He does have a record to look back on.

Chad got caught by a shot he didn't see. It happens.

Ahh, the interwebs. Where someone can, anonymously, call a fighter who has dominated the light heavyweight division for years a "dumb fighter."

Since you are drawing 100% of your conclusions based on Tabloid reports, speaking so confidently about a stranger's private behavior is strange.

Jay-Z never made that promise.

As a fan of the books and a lover of the author's attention to detail, I was moved by your post and found myself grinning as I read it.

I actually agree with what you said. BR is "a book almost exactly like that."

This fascination by a few posters about NBA age limits somehow doesn't extent to other sports like Baseball/Tennis/Soccer/Hockey/Car Racing/Cycling/Track/Boxing...etc.

Whether you may have more money now, or not is irrelevant. His story as a mid/late 20 year old person hasn't been fully written yet. Neither has yours. Expecting him to pass on that amount of money guaranteed is strange. He did start with a good amount of money and he can still do something worthwhile in the future.
