As pretty as Skyrim can be on PC with a ton of mods it's still just horrible to watch the animations. Even the ragdolls are horrible. They have no friction or natural behavior. I think even Morrowind used that engine. It has evolved and changed a lot just like the Source engine but it really suck for a lot of things. I wouldn't mind if they kept the engine again for Fallout 4 as long as they fix the damn animations. I can't stand the hand made puppet animations anymore.

The controls are wooden, and it's really just not adapted to any kind of action gameplay. I agree, I also think the styling was a poor choice, I think they wanted to have an angular "masculine" console, and it ended up looking like a VCR.
