Sigma was NOT the first Reploid. In fact, Sigma was one of the newer Reploids built just before/as the first three Reploids went Maverick.
Sigma only lead the Maverick Hunters for four months before he met Zero and turned Maverick himself.

Yea, and their shareholders voted to end Capcom’s buyout protection a while back.
