That would be good.
That would be good.
THIS JUST IN!: Controllers have TWO analog sticks!
The mouse is the right analog stick.
The left analog stick is missing and replaced by triple redundant D-Pads.
Yea, dealing with clumsy inferior controls is all part of the experience. *eyeroll*
The mouse is the right analog stick.
It’s the left analog stick that is missing.
And there is no set of menus that will require you to use 3 seperate D-Pads to navigate.
That’s an idiotic argument.
I DO play anything worth playing....in the order that they’re worth playing. Since console FPSs rate pretty damn low even when they clear the “worth it” bar, they don’t get played.
It is in conjunction with a mouse.
Without a mouse to give fine control the binary controls get more clunky. But at the same time the binary controls are MUCH faster and more responsive. Changing directions is instantaneous since there’s no travel time for a stick to move from one direction to the other. You’re simply…
Oh I know that. Drive me nuts.
But that’s for confirmation and cancel, not for interacting with items in the game world, which in typically Square.
In FPSs, where X is jump, Square is use, and Circle and Triangle are abilities or whatever, this keyboard makes no sense if it’s trying to map to a PC control layout.
Tough to say.
But even without a left stick a mouse and keyboard will still be more graceful 90% of the time.
The ability to move different speeds isn’t the only advantage of an analog stick. It also lets you walk in more than 4(8) directions, because the inputs aren’t just directly forward, directly left, directly backward, or directly right, and the halfway between diagonal directions you get by pressing two buttons at a…
No. That would be stupid. They’ve already got two set of arrow keys. If one is meant to stand in for the analog stick, the other is the D-pad.
the redundant directional input at the bottom ONLY makes sense if it’s in the form of a REAL analog stick
If it doesn’t recommend the keyboard input, then they’ve done it entirely wrong.
FPS is where you want the analog stick the most.
For anyone who wants to play an FPS more elegantly than a drunken cow with a broken leg in a china shop.
The mouse looks perfectly fine.... In fact it looks almost like an outright clone of the G700, which is a VERY comfortable mouse.
It’s the keyboard that makes no sense.
Why the hell would you put a redundant D-Pad on this thing?
This should be an analog stick.
The colossal advantage of a mouse and keyboard is basically everything EXCEPT WASD.
The ONLY advantage of a controller is the use of an anlog stick in place of WASD.
Seriously, why does this thing have 3 sets of arrow keys? That’s…
That would only be because you’re bad at M&K.
The only way this thing won’t be a MASSIVE advantage over a controller is if it’s artificially limited to controller limitations of turning speed and whatnot.
I’m rapidly getting fed up with Randy Pitchford’s crap.
The world would much rather have an open-world Pokemon action RPG that looks like the anime.
Nintendo would drown in money.
Don’t let him know that Diablo 2:LoD is an immeasurably better game.
We need a Ni No Kuni art style open world Pokemon game.
