Except it doesn’t work that way.
Anything going to PC contributes to the Xbone becoming a $500 doorstop.
Microsoft can’t support both with any significant number of exclusives, and even then the distinction between them is artificial, since the Xbone is just an extremely limited PC.
And supporting the Xbone over the PC…

Windows 10 has Direct X 12.
DX12 provides a MASSIVE boost in performance for gaming.
Win 7 and 8 just aren’t really an option.

Aye, as Atomizer said, it’s because of DX12 and the colossal jump in power it will provide.

At least 2 of those are PC games, and going the way it is, probably all 4 of them will be soon.

I don’t think you need to worry about NX replacing the Wii U at all. Nintendo said that’s not what it is.
Also, Zelda’s out next year. NX is nowhere NEAR that close to release.

It started as a never-ending trainwreck, and now it has become a rapidly sinking ship....

And yes, Nintendo will announce more stuff.
They were only talking about/announcing things for 2015 and extremely early in 2016 at E3.
They didn’t talk about stuff that’s a year or more away like everyone else.

Bingo. Everyone else still thinks of E3 as THE news day. Nintendo stopped with that nonsense when they started their Directs.
But unless everyone’s on the same page, it’s gonna backfire a little on Nintendo.

They’ve said the NX isn’t going to replace the Wii U OR the 3DS.
What it is then, I dunno. Maybe Nintendo VR. But I’m not worried about the Wii U.

Wii U has more than justified itself already.
And give it a month and Nintendo will be dropping more news.
This wasn’t really Nintendo failing at E3. It was Nintendo not really participating in E3.
They just treated it as any other month’s Nintendo Direct.
