Long story short, people are dumb.

Kids today are crappy gamers. They want everything to be Call Of Easy Mode.
Games didn’t used to hold your hand and treat you like a baby the way they do now. That’s why old school gamers are usually so much more massively skilled than modern ones.

Some of them were actually starting to not completely suck.
