Alien Swarm’s decent.
Calling it a true sequel to L4D is a colossal exaggeration. It’s nowhere near THAT good.
That said, there should be some sort of combination of Alien Swarm, Left 4 Dead and Natural Selection 2.
Like a class-based co-op survival horror campaign version of Natural Selection 2....
That’d just be even worse.
4 words:
Streets Of Sim City
Additionally:
SimCopter
And for my original grand suggestion from the moment they made the Los Santos map:
Combine Cities Skylines with GTA5.
Like I said to someone else here, the SSJ3 Saiyans just looks to me like a caveman hairmetal band.
So yea, it’s a “de-evolution” sort of look.
Which COULD still make sense in SSJ4 when they become more monkey-like....except they get their eyebrows back and the hair gets shorter again...
And then finally SSJ5 when they…
Red can be passed off as brown with a red aura around it, or something of the sort.
Broly never really seems like he actually had blue hair. I think that was more like Goku’s False Super Saiyan form, where his hair appeared red.
I think they were both in False Super Saiyan and both still had black hair, just with…
Oh, I know. I just assume that’s because they were lazy or bad at coming up with names, and figured no one would really notice.
Sure they do.
You haven’t worked out the math on this.
There are 7 billion people.
There are like 81000 people for each second of the day.
All you need is 1/81000 people to start a fight at work for there to be a new fight every second.
With 7 billion people, yes, it’s basically all the time. Someone somewhere is getting into a fight at work when they’re not supposed to at basically any given moment.
Well, given that “god” is a completely arbitrary title in DBZ, that makes sense.
King Kai, Supreme Kai, etc etc etc are all gods. Goku’s been way more powerful than them for ages.
Super Saiyan God is just “stronger Goku”.
It makes sense as an explanation.
It just doesn’t make any damn sense as an artistic choice.
There are just loads of ways they could’ve done it that would’ve been better.
Game design and character design are what I do.
When I see either done badly...it just bugs me.
Like, there are animes where people just have lots of weird hair colors and it’s treated as normal across the series, and that’s fine.
For Dragon Ball, the Saiyans have always had black or brown hair, and then Super Saiyan…
If their hair went regular Super Saiyan blonde, and then their aura was glowing blue, which resulted in greenish looking hair, that’d be fine and logical. That’d just be lighting effects.
Blue hair itself is just silly.
DBZ is verging on some Samson-style nonsense where it’s starting to seem like they store their power…
You don’t get wiki entries about how hard they are to tell apart from things that are completely different.
SS1 and SS2 look almost exactly the same.
Yea, nothing screams badass like the desperate need of a haircut and no eyebrows....
They look like a caveman hairmetal band.
I think SS2 was before they realized they needed an obvious visual distinction so that people didn’t think it was just regular SS1.
Which makes me think the intentional character design only went as far as basic and SS1, and then the rest were “oh shit, we have to come up with something!”.
It's been the premise since the very beginning with Master Roshi growing massive, Saiyans turning into giant monkeys, Piccolo growing gigantic, Princess Snake turning into an actual huge snake, etc etc
Of course they do.
