I've tried, but I hate the way I look in any glasses in general. I've had people tell me I look good in them, but it's more a self-image thing: I can't find any that I think I look good in.

...I think you're on the wrong Website. This is Gizmodo, a technology blog. I'm sure you were looking for the LJA site. You might want to use that fancy Google thing of yours to find your Lame Jackass Anonymous meetings :P .
No offensive weapons, giant ships, fully staffed and equipped hospitals, international aid, civilian crew, and nonprofit collaboration? Seriously, these ships just restored a tiny bit of my faith in humanity :) .
I don't have a smartphone either, but I DO have an iPod Touch :) . I could be using this this year if I actually decide to do stuff for Halloween.
Touche, sir.
XD I appreciate the analogy at the end :P .
Too late for me. I don't wear contacts, but I do wear glasses in certain situations (i.e. to see the board in class, driving, or to watch a movie). I hate how I look in glasses, so I don't wear them unless I absolutely need to. I wish I didn't need them...in other words, if I could afford to "waste" money on it, I'd…
Wow. Original. Think of that yourself? XD
You make it sound like a lack of ethics is specific to science or scientists...being selfish and aggressive is an innate, animalistic instinct that exists in everyone. And many people in all fields of work or passion have trouble with that. Don't blame it on science.
That's what they SAY. But considering TPB has rarely ever had much downtime, the timing for a sudden 2-day (and counting) outage seems suspect.
I don't have a smartphone. I have a feature phone. Which means it has a browser but no apps (unless you count the tiny, tiny amount of compatible JAD/JAR files). So yes, I use the mobile site instead of an app.
I know :(
It would, but it would also leave smaller droplets all over the blade and table/surface it's on. This is a clean cut.
Yes and no. I'm saying they didn't KNOW there were major bugs because they didn't test it well enough. They announced a release date prematurely without testing for such bugs as well as they should have first.
Ah, EZTV! I've always found the EZTV torrents on Pirate Bay but never thought to try and find their own website :) . Thanks!
...thank you for supporting my point?
I agree :) . As soon as I have money to spend on music I'm going to buy Linkin Park's Living Things album. I torrented it and I absolutely love it :) .
This explains why TPB was down yesterday (and a quick check says it still is). That sucks. I had to catch up on my missed shows through streaming sites, which isn't terrible, but the quality sucks compared to a nice MPEG or AVI.
They say they're not shutting down, but they've been down since yesterday...that's the longest I've seen TPB down ever.
It's a waste of money. If I'm not paying for it, nothing's wasted :P .
