You could look at it that way if you want. Or you could realize that artists make most of their money off live performances and merchandise, not to mention that even with all the pirating you hear about they still have album sales like crazy. Pirating simply makes someone who would be ridiculously rich become instead

Who needs money when you've got PORN, PORN, PORN? :P

I torrent and pirate, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I usually pirate TV shows when I miss them, since I don't have a DVR in my dorm, but also sometimes movies and music because I'm a broke college student who can't afford to waste money on those things.

Gatepocalypse-gate?

I was thinking more like someone who's with you at one point while you unlock your door. I'm paranoid like that, I guess.

I have a feature phone. An LG Rumor Touch, to be specific. It has 3 buttons in that row: home, back, and call. If you have any confusion about where the Back button takes you, that's your problem; it's pretty clear.

Tinky Winky is offended at your amusement. And you don't want to piss off a Teletubby. John did, and now we call him Lefty...as in he Lefty his kidney in the sewer...

I could bring it up to the administrators at my university, but I don't think they'd approve it. But maybe if I got a petition signed by many people...signing with their left hand, of course...

A pornography historian? Where can I sign up to be a pornstorian?

They didn't have to delay anything; they didn't have to announce a release date until they had the major bugs worked out.

It was a joke...but yeah, Apple's testing department seems to have been running a little poorly lately, what with the Maptastrophe and now this (and didn't Siri have a lot of initial release bugs as well?)

...and after 1 year it's no longer free. Too many downsides. I'll just wait 8 months until I'm out of this school for good and host my own at home for as long as I want for free :) .

Unlimited space for $10 for a year? That's pretty cool. I'm more comfortable hosting my own server, though...well, I would be if I didn't have so much trouble with my university's firewall settings -_- . They purposely make it a pain in the ass, I swear.

I see Apple has now continued their pattern of "you're holding it wrong" excuses. Antennagate's got nothing on Purplegate!

And then someone sees you press the button code and can get into your house at any time...without needing to have a physical key...great.

Backup batteries constantly being charged with an auto cutoff when fully charged! REDUNDANCY :) .

I'm not sure. I think the last time I did was to burn some DVDs since my TV doesn't have a USB input like many new ones do. Other than that...I can't remember the last time I used mine.

That's a slightly different effect, though...it's just accumulating the tiny amount of light over time, whereas we can only see an instant of light at a time with our naked eyes. Basically, it's summing small amounts of light over time so the sum is large, whereas our eyes can only see one tiny term in that sum.

There are 5 folders from installations that I never moved. The rest are all shortcuts.

I have 49 icons. I don't use all of them, but I do use some of them some of the time. I don't think it's important enough of an issue to bother deleting the ones I never use.
