Ew. Direct rhyming. Ew.

What does Fenetre mean? Also, how do you pronounce it? English is usually used during product naming because (1) Microsoft is based in an English-speaking country, and (2) English has become, thanks in large part to the Internet and Britain's previous love of conquering everything, the de facto "global language". I

Maybe it's just me, but replacing "ex" with "x" always seems juvenile and cheesy...

Better go with Bill, after Gates. Or Pearly, after gates.

I don't know if they'd have an easy time trademarking that...it's kind of a very common word, and as such I'm sure it's already been used for a UI name before by another company.

How about "station" then? Windows Station, for all your PC needs.

Anything with tiles is "exactly like" AOL Kids? Hm...I never knew my kitchen floor was AOL!

Revo sounds more like a phone...perhaps because I immediately think of Evo. Either way, it's not good for brand recognition.

Dammit. I just suggested this, then I look through the other comments to find you already did. Kudos on beating me to the punch—I guess I'll have to be quicker next time!

Windows Windows? Like an At-At for Windows?

I've heard "toosh" before, but "touchy"? Really? Does anyone seriously pronounce it that way?

Except all versions of Windows (minus perhaps Vista; though I had no problems with it, many people seemed to).

How about Mosaic? Or, more specifically, "Windows Mosaic"? It sounds cool and sophisticated at the same time and still describes the look of the UI.

You're right: it's difficult to define "awareness". However...here's the most common definition: "The state or ability to perceive, to feel, or to be conscious of events, objects, or sensory patterns." Digging deeper, the standard definition of "conscious" is: "The ability to experience or to feel".

The second complaint is valid. The first...well, do you really expect to get phone service for free? That's never happened, even in the first days of landlines. It's a service, and like any other service, you can't get it free.

What carrier do you use?

Really? "No iPhone" is the worst thing you can think of about T-Mobile? They do have Android phones, right? Sounds like you have it really good, then.

I hate that Sprint charges a "smartphone fee" of $10/month, with no real reason for it. It's not for data—I already have an unlimited data plan, and this is extra. It's not for apps, obviously, since those cost their own independent amounts. It's not for the marketplace, since the charge is from Sprint and is the same

You answered your entire post with your first question: "The only reason that performing the procedures while your original body is still alive and conscious creates two separate people is that their experiences diverge immediately."

Tell me what the difference is between the "original" you and the "real" you? How do you define "real"? If I say at this very moment the word "you", I clearly mean the original you as it's the only one that exists. In any of the described situations, the original you's consciousness either ceases to be or is
