Most people can't. What you're describing is a lucid dream; it sounds like you only have lucid dreams. And if that's the case, I envy you. For awhile I used different techniques to purposely lucid dream, and I loved it. However, whenever I woke up from a lucid dream, it felt like I was being physically pushed and

Flipping penguins on frying pan?

Yeah, I figured that was the case. You can never be too sure, though, on the Internet :P .

Wait, what? Are you saying Zuckerburg is more of an innovator than Tim Berners-Lee?

I know! I turned to the people around me and said, "Seriously? Who has never heard of Tim Berners-Lee?" I was quickly reminded that people not in the computer industry or a related school major have no clue who he is. It's sad.

Olympics opening so far. Your thoughts?

Well, as you touched upon, figure skating, gymnastics, and the like are all similarly subjective yet still considered Olympic sports. A sport does not need to be objectively scorable.

Seriously? That's an Olympic sport?

+1

Someone had to, or else I would have. I was going to ask if that computer is really so cray-cray...

Re: The Headline

Oh, you!

Dancing should totally be an Olympic sport. First of all, there's not a single culture/nation without some form of dancing. Second of all, if you've ever watched shows like So You Think You Can Dance, you'll know that it meets all the requirements of a sport: you can be good or bad at it, it takes skill and effort

He hacked into her Sight and controlled her behavior that way. Which is what I don't understand if they're just contacts. But the best explanation that we all have come up with so far is that Sight is not just contacts, but a neural implant as well, and that implant is how he's controlling her.

Nah, I think it'll just stay endangered forever; I can't see watches completely disappearing any time soon. It's slightly more convenient to look at a watch than to check your phone (unless your phone is always in plain sight without having to remove it from a pocket or unclip/reclip it...which I don't see how that's

Glad you can afford that xD .

Here's what I want to know. The ending...how does it work from a contact lens? I mean, I know it's just a fictional film, but still, technologically speaking, how?

I have a watch. I rarely (if ever?) use my phone as a clock. I look at my watch, note the time, and put my arm down. Never have I forgotten the time that I just looked at 2 seconds before.

Holy mother of burning Dante! The $300 construction fee is a bit steep, but it's completely understandable given the fiber optic infrastructure that needs to be in place for this to work. But a 1Gbps connection with 1TB free cloud space, no data cap, full HD Internet TV, and a free* phone, all for $120/month? Jeeze, I

Not just amateur chefs. I was watching the premier of Top Chef Masters last night (a cooking competition where the contestants are all pro chefs competing for charity) and right away, episode one, one chef (Missy Something-or-other) nicked her finger. And when I say "nicked", I mean "cut so deeply she needed to leave
