It's not all that bad. The "proper" syntax would be "because that's from where they tend to originate". Not such a horrible mistake given the commonality of ending sentences with prepositions in everyday speech.

If you were a comedian at a gig in an insane asylum it would be mentals and jokes.

Way before man...other mammals (and non-mammalian animals) have allergies as well.

This couple better be rich. If not, their wedding will be keeping them broke and in debt for decades to come.

Hey, hey, hey now. Velveeta is delicious. But if you don't like it, use whatever your favorite pasta cheese is. The cheese/syrup combo is the important part.

Maybe not vectors per se, but I do think a graph representation would really compress the data as well as make it more insightful. A nice directed graph showing which neurons trigger which other ones would be cool; extracting the strongly connected components of such a graph would be a great way to isolate the

Similarly, macaroni and cheese with maple syrup. Especially if it's Velveeta cheese. I've been eating it for years since I accidentally discovered it, and it's delicious!

Actually, outside of America most countries as a whole don't generally like peanut butter at all. We eat a LOT of it, and there's a historical reason for that. WWII caused a peanut butter shortage in the US, and whenever something becomes rare, it becomes valuable. So peanut butter became a symbol of high-class

I agree. I've sadly never had it, though I've wanted it for a long time. I just can't find it around here, and I'm not confident in my abilities to make a decent version of it homemade.

Molecular gastronomy as a cohesive discipline has been around at least since 1992; but letting computers figure out the pairings is like taking the brain of a molecular gastronomist and automating it. That's the innovation—the automation of the process.

You're right. Although it's not the RAM that's the problem, it's energy usage of the processor. In order to keep your battery from dying in an hour on a mobile device, processors have had to be scaled down to become more energy efficient, which limits the amount of operations you can do at a time on a mobile device.

I get the feeling a lot of people around Gizmodo have the same problem...it's made me more than self-conscious before because at the few parties I go to, I'm always the one sitting on the wall with my drink while everyone else has fun, and I really hate how hard it is for me to join in.

Only up to age 12? Man, if this works, I'd love some therapy for myself. I'm just a tad bit over the age limit...by almost 10 years. Social anxiety sucks; I'd love a tech solution for it because, as a tech lover, I'm sure it would be quick to help me xD .

IT went down during the demo, yes. An iMac completely froze and almost bricked my attached iPod several years ago. My friend installed Ubuntu on my computer a few years back, and within a day I could no longer connect to WiFi anywhere; he tried to help and couldn't get it working either, leading me to switch back to

Ah. Lazy marketing, then, is the root of the problem. Makes sense; too bad this one of the rare cases where that doesn't work.

Mind bottling? I'm sorry, I'd like to keep my brain outside of a jar, thanks. :P

Question: in the image of the tilted frame, why is the level still showing it's horizontal?

I wasn't saying it was made, just saying you're not the only one to think of the concept.

Software or wetware?

They keep touting it as a genetic algorithm. If it's a true genetic algorithm, then yes, it's random combining.
