Of course not. My iPod still works just fine. I don't buy new things just because they can't run the "best, latest, and greatest apps around". My iPod is primarily a music source, and it does that well. The apps are extras, and there are still many that work with the 2G. No need to replace it for $200 (or whatever the

No problem, bbooyy! :P

Maybe, but that's energy density, not recharge efficiency :P . Scientists are always trying to come up with the next most energy-dense battery; it's only a matter of time before the energy density surpasses that of methanol without depending on nonrenewable fuels quite so much.

Why, thank you. Electricity and hearts seem to go hand-in-hand, don't they? :P

Sadly, I have no dog. That's why I must eat it myself. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it ;D .

That's a different reason altogether. Capsaicin (the chemical that creates "spicy") does not trigger a taste. Spicy is not a taste, but a feeling. If you put capsaicin on your arm, it will burn as well, even without taste buds. The chemical simply triggers a signal in the heat-sensing receptors in the cells and

They don't do anything. As far as I know, our cells don't react to chloride nor to a negative voltage (which chloride ions would induce).

I prefer VGA. My school laptop only has a VGA out port for video, so it's always nice to be able to eat my own homework.

For those who want to know why the electricity tastes specifically salty, it's because of how salt receptors in the tongue (and really, every other cell) work.

For a similar reason, actually, but in this case the saltiness overpowers the sweetness. See my comment above for more detail on the process (which I'm about to post in 2 minutes :P ).

You have it backwards, actually. Rechargeable batteries are designed to be as efficient as possible. A LiPo battery, for example, is much more efficient than a fuel cell.

I'm fairly sure you can do that with most chemical reactions...and that it's the basis for all rechargeable batteries. You could probably do it with this butane cell as well. But most reactions run in reverse take more energy for electrolysis than they produce when burned later, making that impractical for a fuel cell.

Yeah. Sure. I'm racist against my own nationality because I know that the stereotypes exist for a reason. Racist is the new buzzword, isn't it?

Probably. Or for people who don't know they can order it online already. Or for impulse buyers.

Any internships down in South Florida, guys? Where I'll be over the summer?

*Wishing I were staying in NY over the summer*

"...and I don't need to ask if I'm correct; I know I am." Yep, typical 'Murrican attitude as well. Either that, or your sarcasm detector is perpetually broken when reading my comments. Or my sarcasm detector is currently malfunctioning on your post. One of those three possibilities.

You sound like you might be 'Murrican. Am I correct?

A while ago, actually. I couldn't remember exactly which stores, so I Googled and found this nice list: "Not to mention the unveiling of retail deals with Apple, Wal-mart, Best Buy, Radio Shack, and Target. ... Square is kicking of 2012 with two new retail deals, OfficeMax and select UPS Store locations."

Within a given set of parameters...so you mean no super-sized chairs for the average American, then?
