That doesn’t make sense though. If they wanted to distance themselves , why have her audition to low ball her in hopes that she would blackout herself? Like Iceblue said, It makes zero sense to go through auditions, hiring her and contract negotiations so they could low-ball her in hopes that she would quit the game.

All those things may be true, but your speculation of it used as reasoning for this outcome is still baseless. As in it has no bases on anything factual, its just guesswork.

Agreed. Not usually my type of thing, but I couldn't get enough. The story is great, the singing is great. An excellent overall package.

You Americans are so funny. There is no comparison between North America and communist China. 30+ million people died in only a few years under Mao. You think that everyone who risks everything to get to North America think its so bad? How many people are trying to hop China’s borders? Just know the rest of the world

Imagine thinking this level of pedantry would get you internet cookies.

Passive aggressive? Trolling? I see you throwing words around but you don’t actually have any idea what they mean do you?

I said what I said because he criticized and accused the author without actually backing up his words with a quote or anything. Facts are important here. You accuse someone of something then show

Earlier this year, Rowling got in trouble for a tweet in which she called out the use of the term “people who menstruate”. She suggested that the correct word to use would be “women”, that the reluctance to use this word was driven by fear of being exclusionary toward trans women

Ain’t nothin’ but a heartache.

Except they don’t.

Sony owns the film rights, Disney/Marvel own the rights in every other medium. Sony just threw a bunch of money at them, and this is entirely on Marvel Games and Square-Enix.

Yes, you did

If Sony has the exclusive video game rights to Spider-Man, please explain how he has recently appeared in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, Marvel Contest of Champions, Marvel Strike Force, Marvel Future Fight, Marvel Heroes, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Disney Infinity, etc.?

Nope, Sony had to negotiate the rights with Marvel for the game but Ultimate Alliance 3 just released last year as Switch exclusive with not only Spidey but Miles, Gwen, Venom and Sandman as well. Thus the company does not own exclusive rights to spider characters at least when it comes to crossovers and this game

No Disney owns the rights to Spider-man for games. Sony only owns the rights for movies and TV.

Sony only owns the movie rights to Spider-Man and it’s characters. It doesn’t carry over to comics, merchandise, or gaming. They likely worked something out with Marvel, but there are no sources confirming any of that.

The 90s were a bad time for blockbusters.

The comments on this very article would seem to disagree with you, “most” seems to be an accurate descriptor.

Bunny Kingdom (2017) and Keyforge (2018) are both designed by Richard Garfield, and have been pretty popular. Half Truth is a trivia game he designed with the legendary Jeopardy winner Ken Jennings, and that did well on Kickstarter and came out last year 2019. He’s still putting stuff out there, and they might not be

“If you ask most board game fans to name the most popular and prominent designers in the business, Lang’s name will usually be pretty near the top of the list.”

interestingly—for Nintendo’s lawyers if nobody else—

He’s a complete dipshit. Mourn for him.
