Yes. One of my cables made it to about 8 months before it was shorting out. Did Monoprice's online chat support and told them what was wrong in detail, and they just sent out a new cable. Didn't have to send the old one back.

I am cable free now. Have a server that runs Sickbeard/Couchpotato that auto downloads everything i watch. Watch them through my raspberry pi's running XBMC. Also have a over the air antenna hooked up to a HDHomerun box so we can watch local stuff too.

It does have Hulu and Amazon Instant (through video addons)! and you can turn off the annoying commercials in Hulu too. I find it better than ROKU cuz I can play torrented shows from my NAS storage device.
