Can we please just put a dagger into the heart of these assholes already? The tech exists to run these coke-snorters out of business. Someone please do it.

I’ve always said the score is one of the most important characters in this film. It’s amazing piece of work that perfectly fits the mood and feel.

As much as I love this film I’m SO glad they cut the scene where Deckard visits Holden in the hospital. Morgan Paull’s acting is terrible. Strange considering how good he was in the opening scene with Leon.

Warning: there will be plenty of people who will tell you it does not live up to the hype.
One, no film ever lives up to hype.
Two, there are always going to be fashionable contrarians
Three, it was made at a different time when story and nuance ruled and it wasnt about Michael Bay-esque quick cuts to please the ADD

Original design was way better just at a glance. I watched the video describing the process earlier today and sorry but if you have to go to such lengths to explain why it’s great, then it’s really not.

This is a perfect example of a rendering that looks amazing but in the end it will just be another run of the mill office building. All the reflectivity, transparency and translucency in the first image... yeah it’s not going to look anything like that..

NPR? LOL you must write for The Onion.

Reading this article has jolted my memory of having these as a kid. Absolutely terrifying. I recall having one or two as an adult but not in recent memory. Mine usually include perceiving a figure in the room, and me screaming for help. Sometimes I can feel the weight of someone sitting down on the bed next to me.

I’d agree that the original post was obtuse and blatantly ignorant, but your tone in response isn’t going to convince anyone to change their viewpoint. When you have the truth on your side, there’s no reason to get so angry and start name calling. It just diminishes your message.

People should be far more concerned about people texting while driving. Yet, they get bent about this.

If it were done this way, it could only ever be a single image, since the distances involved would prevent stills being taken from other angles. That image could be made to appear 3D using various methods.

““whoa, that’s weird looking”

The leftists are war mongers... right. It all starts with that liberal hippie Lindsey Graham?.

"Woodworth strives to make his photographs more vibrant than anything ever seen by the naked eye. He explains how he does so, by combining multiple images with long exposure times:"

For the casual and even semi-casual board gamer, A&A is certainly going to exceed the complexity of most games. However if we are talking serious military strategy gaming, the Squad Leader series would certainly make A&A look like checkers by comparison.

They aren't badly named it's just that when people write about them they use the truncated phrase "pillars of creation" whereas many astronomers refer to them as the "pillars of star creation" which is exactly what they are.

If you have never seen the documentary about Drew Struzan, the man behind most of the Star Wars posters, I recommend it. I got it for Christmas and have watched it twice. Guy has sick talent.

More like, NFL Hall of Fame coach Don Shula as Han Solo.

I think he's just angling for the extra large box of punctuation for Christmas.

I refuse to pronounce GIF as "jiff". I don't care what its creator says. When was the last time you heard someone say "jraphic design".
