This sticker is there because of the issues with the 360 where they were scratching discs to the point where Microsoft had to start reimbursing people. Some people may leave it on in fear that someone else may move it, ruin the disc, if not the drive, and have no recourse because they have been warned.

I would have assumed that the problem would have been fixed by switching to the bluray drive like the ps3 (which never scratched a disc even through my abusive son's countless attempts) and the fact that it takes a lot to actually damage a blu ray drive.
