Have you played Titanfall?.. It does feel like wall running Call of Duty with mechs. What is the real innovation here? Did you know that you have jetpacks, and pilotable mechs in Killzone 3 multiplayer? Destiny, on the other hand, does look like true innovation in an established genera. I can't wait to get my hands on…

Ah... I see exactly what you are saying. Yeah... I have to admit that I am not impressed with the first round of games either. There hasn't been anything that I have seen yet that has wowed me. The only game that I am really looking forward to, at this point, is Evolve. Have you seen the gameplay vid for that yet?

Of course the titles that I have referred to are not benchmarks. The vast majority of the public has no interest in playing the kind of games that I enjoy most. You have to remember that game development is business. Look at what tops the sales charts, and you'll see why we don't see innovative games more often.

Maybe I should have better explained. I should have said, what leap in gameplay do you expect from a third person shooter? As far as I see, you are not going to see any major leaps in gameplay in a third person shooter with a standard controller.

Did you read my reply to you? I find innovative games all the time. I don't focus on Call of Duty, Forza, and Gears of War, throw my hands up, and say. Welp... I guess there have been no changes in gameplay.
