It was horrible, but I loved it. The first time the little robot showed up, I named him pimp bot, which caused my lady to laugh every time he showed up.

Um... What the hell? What would cause you to think that the PS4 will be anything less than a massive success for the Japanese launch? It's already is the fastest selling console in history, and shows no signs of slowing. Hitting the Japanese market is only going to expound on the, already massive, success.
They're already using blur effects. Watch the gameplay demo.
It seems that we totally agree.
Increasing the frame rate, nor blur have anything to do with image quality. A solid 30 frames per second more than enough. Blur effect are obviously already being used. Watch the gameplay footage.
If I had the money, and the time, I would have both new systems, and a high end gaming PC. Man, do I wish I were rich.
lol. Exactly.
If you'll notice, I said gameplay.
I see what you were getting at with visual interpolation, but... If we take what you have stated here as reference, why could we not just write code to deal with blur, as they already have. You can download blur programs to use on your own creations right now. I would not think that writing a blur code would be that…
I don't have either system yet. I don't have the time, or extra cash, to buy both systems, so I have been doing a lot of research. It seems to me that the PS4 is a no brainer, based on what I have seen, including the second link in your above post. Plus, it's $100 less.
lol. Way to go. Your link takes me to google asking, "Did you mean: inconsistent frame rate ps4".
If you watch the gameplay trailer, you can see that they have added motion blur.
You're right with the natural motion blur, and the fact that it has to be added to games, but he was talking about "visual interpolation" to the previous frame of film. I have never heard of such a thing, and I have been deeply involved with film, and electronics for nearly 30 years.
Fear not. The devs have already said that they did not know that EA made the decision to hold it to PC and Xbox 1. A sequel, or a latter launch, as with Mass Effect, which was also produced by EA, is not out of the question.
Well... You have a long road to hoe ahead of you, convincing ever major gaming site, and publication on the planet that they are wrong. Good luck.
Sorry, but I'm not with you on this. I can't see any reason why motion blur could not be added, while keeping the frame rate at 30 frames per second.
Considering that the Xbox 1 can't even run all content at 1080p, that all visual comparisons show that the PS4 runs games better, and that 30 frames per second is faster than the 24 seconds that film is shot at, and that you totally missed the point of what the developer was saying... Yep... Still looks superior. And…
Take into account that most motion pictures are filmed at 24 frames per second. I HATED the way The Hobbit looked. The whole thing looked like a soap opera.
Ha! That's funny as hell.
Just a little.... Just a little.
