I know exactly what you mean. Fire pits are that way too. In the winter we go to my friends house to watch his 70 inch in his basement bar, and in the summer everyone gathers in my back yard around my fire pit.

The terms of service that you must agree to with the Kinect. It literally states that you have no expectation of privacy, and that they can use your voice, and likeness for what ever they want, including storing and sending overseas, and handing over to authorities.
