That is what it sounds like when they discussed it in the conference. Otherwise, it will suck to have to hang onto my PS3. I was just playing Project Eden for PS2 a couple weeks ago. I do love my 60 Gig because of the BC.

If you want to get into semantics, it may not technically be BC, as you will not be playing off of the same disc as you were before. But, if you have Uncharted 3 for PS3, then they give you the ability to play Uncharted 3 without the disc, who cares what word you want to assign to having that ability to play the game

Give, not sell. Did you watch the conference? As for the backward compatible aspect... The 360 did not run Xbox games at launch. They have almost every game running now, but don't you remember all the jokes about how the first, or one of the first, Xbox games to run on the 360 was a Barbie game?

So... It's going to be a constantly connected cable box that requires the Kinect camera so that they can watch you to see how to market to you best (careful what you do in your living room, as Big Bro... I mean... Microsoft, will be watching) that you can play games on?...

Guess you didn't buy a 360 then, as you can't play your Xbox games on it. Besides, fear not. Go watch the PS4 press conference. They talk about giving you your PS3 games on their version of steam.

Dude... Living in an area that does not offer broad band does not mean that you are not interested in gaming. I just moved, but for the last 8 years I lived in an area that had no broad band. I had to use a box that I got for $75 a month from a cell phone company that was not even as fast as 3g.

An always on internet connection, and you must use the new Kinect. Don't do or say anything you don't want shared with the world. Big Brother will be watching.

You know... You could just watch Disney Princess movies. I don't think that you understand what they were trying to get across. It is supposed to be over the top violent, and upsetting, in stark contrast to the beautiful world you first see.

Turns out that 1 & 2 were ported to PC, and MGS 2: Subsistence was on the Xbox.

Cool. My Brother in Law is a PC only gamer, and I think he would dig these games. He is pissed about The Last of US being PS3 only. MGS might make him feel better. lol

Valid points, but I still have yet to ever see a better modern war shooter than Battlefield 3. The fact that you have so many vehicles at your disposal is a feat on it's own. Mannn... Stop being such a pessimist, and enjoy the amazing job of what they have done right.

Sorry for the double post.

Na... You are mistaken. In Metal Gear Solid 4 Big Boss was voiced by Richard Doyle, not David Hayter. Here's some more food for thought. In the Japanese release of MGS4, Big Boss is voiced by Chikao Otsuka, the real life father of Japanese Solid Snake voice actor Akio Otsuka. How bad ass is that?...

Has Metal Gear ever been on PC?
